Customers needs

The client wanted a timeless yet modern kitchen that maximised functionality in a compact space. They desired a light and airy feel, ample storage, and a layout that allowed for easy movement. A balance between practicality and style was essential, with an emphasis on creating a welcoming space for everyday use.

Constraints

The biggest constraint was the limited space, which risked making the kitchen feel cramped. The need for storage had to be carefully considered without overwhelming the room. Additionally, ensuring enough natural light and a sense of openness while incorporating essential kitchen elements.

Our solution

We opted for a classic grey and mussel shaker door, enhancing depth while keeping the space visually light. Natural oak open shelving was introduced to add warmth and contrast, creating a sense of openness. Large windows flood the room with natural light, enhancing the airy feel. Clever storage solutions, integrated appliances, and a streamlined layout maximised space without compromising functionality.
